Provision and grant access
Create company → customer → device → PLC/HMI asset → peers → access grants. Download client configuration after creating grants.
Connect to a vehicle
- Download your peer configuration once and store it securely.
- Import
cxN.confinto WireGuard for Windows, then select Activate. - Enter the asset’s VPN address in your PLC/HMI engineering software.
- Select Deactivate when finished, or use the supplied CONNEXENT PowerShell utility.
A running tunnel or recent handshake does not prove that the PLC is reachable. The gateway must show the current policy, and the required protocol and port must be granted.
Changed grants may require updated routes: download a template and insert your existing local private key. A template does not contain a usable private key.
